If you are new to computers you may find that using the mouse can be very frustating.  This is not surprising it's a new skill.

I was recently teaching an elderly friend to use his newly bought computer.  Naturally the first thing he had to learn was how to open software from the start menu.

He was a little surprised and comforted to find that his homework was to play Solitaire every day for a week.

It makes sense. By the time I came again he could click with accuracy, move the pointer with ease and confidence, double click and click and drag.  He could resize and move a window and use the start menu.

It made all his subsequent lessons so much easier.
