It is a very busy forum and the daily litany of complaints is very sad. By mistake I clicked the options for recieving new posts by email. I get around six a day. Most are complaints by young women desperate for their partners to take a more adult role in the relationship.
The saddest are those from young mothers who dare not leave young children with the fathers for fear that they will be neglected in favour of WoW. One young Mother came home to find her child had locked herself out on to the fifth floor balcony wearing just a vest. Worried and angry neighbours had called the police. Her husband was playing WoW in the spare room totally unaware until the police banged on the door.
World of Warcraft is addictive and as damaging as many drugs. It certainly stunts emotional growth and inhibits mature relationships.
