The Background to Silver IT Club

There is a bewildering array of IT training online and in colleges. Very little is for the older home user. Government directs funding toward qualifications that are irrelevant if you are not looking for work or are no longer building a career.

The Silver IT Club aims to build a community based on the actual training needs of older users.

We believe the older user cares more about the social and community use of computers than about the actual technology. This is central to our philosophy.
